Acoustic Surveys, Detection & Monitoring - Ocean Life Survey can provide acoustic surveys and monitoring in the marine environment, for species including marine mammal and seabirds, and for habitat monitoring including vessel traffic, sound emissions and other activity. We offer deployment from coastal platforms, marine buoys, our own or clients vessels, and can deploy both free floating and moored systems. We can deploy and use live and recording acoustic systems, either for short or prolonged durations, providing real time acoustic detection and identification (from live systems), as well as subsequent analysis and reporting.

Acoustic Deterrence - Ocean Life Survey can provide acoustic services and systems with specialist playback capability, for instance for marine mega fauna deterrence, in order to provide protection to species including marine mammals from vessel strike, fisheries bycatch, shark nets and other potentially harmful activity. The system may be used for other megafauna species deterrence including sharks and turtles.

The Ocean Life Survey (OLS), Acoustic Deterrence Attraction Monitoring System (ADAMS) has been designed & developed by OLS to operate in marine, freshwater, and terrestrial environments, for species and habitat conservation, monitoring, enhancement and protection. The ADAMS is a small lightweight, affordable system, which can be easily deployed, operated and retrieved.
The ADAMS can switch between functions to provide acoustic detection or monitoring of species & habitats; the targeted attraction of certain species for survey, monitoring, breeding, colonization, and habitat creation; and the deterrent or temporary displacement of target species from a specified area where and when required.
